Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about buying, installing and running our FiveM scripts. Can't find your answer? We're one message away.
Buying, delivery & account
Add any product to your basket and check out securely through Tebex, the official payment platform for FiveM creators. Pay by card, PayPal or most regional methods — your purchase is then tied to the Cfx.re (FiveM) account you check out with.
Instantly. Tebex grants the asset to your Cfx.re account the moment payment clears, so it appears in your Keymaster portal and is pulled into any server that boots with your license key. You also get an email receipt with your order details.
Use your Cfx.re (FiveM) account — the same one that owns your server license key. Buying and signing in with that account is what links your purchases to your server, and it's how you unlock owner-only features on this site.
Once you're signed in with Cfx.re, open your account menu and choose "Link Discord". Linking connects your purchases to your Discord for faster support tickets and any buyer-only roles in our community server.
Payments run entirely through Tebex, which supports major credit and debit cards, PayPal and many local options. Prices show in your local currency where available, with the final amount confirmed at checkout.
Installation & compatibility
Most scripts support both ESX and QBCore out of the box, and many are framework-agnostic or ship with bridges. The exact frameworks and versions each resource targets are listed on its product page — always check there before buying.
Run a recent recommended FXServer artifacts build — escrow-protected assets in particular need an up-to-date server to decrypt correctly. We keep resources current as Cfx.re updates the platform, so newer artifacts give the smoothest experience.
Place the resource folder in your server's resources directory, add "ensure <resource>" to your server.cfg, install any dependencies it lists (e.g. oxmysql or ox_lib) and import the included SQL, then restart. Each product ships with a README, and most have full guides on our Docs page.
Yes — many products include an in-browser source viewer, so you can inspect the structure and read the open files right on the product page. Escrow-protected files stay locked, but everything you'd normally configure is visible.
Asset Escrow is Cfx.re's official protection system: the core logic is encrypted and only decrypts server-side on servers running the license key the asset is granted to. It appears as locked files. Config files, locales and open scripts stay fully editable — only the protected internals are sealed.
Support, updates & refunds
The fastest route is our Discord server, where you can open a ticket. Include your order email, the script name and a clear description (with F8 / server-console errors and screenshots) so we can help right away. You can also reach us from the Contact page.
We aim to answer tickets within about one business day, and usually much faster during active hours. Tickets with full details — console errors, server logs and steps to reproduce — are always resolved quickest.
Yes. All future updates and fixes for a script you own are free for life. Because the asset is granted to your Cfx.re account, your server simply pulls the latest version — just re-download from Keymaster if you keep local copies.
Scripts are digital goods granted instantly, so sales are generally final. If a resource is broken or not as described and we can't resolve it, contact us — we review these cases individually under our terms and Tebex's buyer policy.
First check that your artifacts are up to date, every dependency is installed, and the resource starts after its dependencies in server.cfg. If an escrow asset won't load, confirm your server is booting with your own license key. Still stuck? Open a Discord ticket with your console output.
Customization & licensing
Yes. Every FiveM server runs on a free server license key you generate in the Cfx.re Keymaster portal. Escrow-protected assets are granted to your Cfx.re account and only decrypt on servers booting with your key — so you must run your own key, not a shared or borrowed one.
Yes, within FiveM's escrow rules. Config files, locales and all non-escrowed files are yours to customize. Only the escrow-protected core is encrypted and can't be edited — that's what keeps the asset protected and safely updatable.
A standard purchase licenses the resource for one server — the asset is bound to your Cfx.re account and your server license key. If you run multiple servers or a larger community and need it on more keys, contact us before buying about additional grants.
No. Reselling, sharing, leaking or redistributing our resources — modified or not — is strictly prohibited, breaches the FiveM platform rules, and is enforced through escrow and our license terms.
Yes. If you need something tailored to your server, reach out through the Contact page with your requirements and we'll discuss scope, timeline and pricing.
